Statement Reconciliation Tool To Be Added to Website
TheEDGEBANK has added a new financial tool to our website. The Statement Reconciliation Tool is available from our home page, www.theedgebank.com, under “Financial Tools & Financial Links.” Once you click on this link you can then select the Statement Reconciliation Tool.
This Excel program will allow you to easily review your bank statement and balance it to your check book register. All you need to do is simply add in your statement and register balances, and then add in your outstanding checks and deposits. Once you balance your account you can save this file to your computer for future reference. The addition of this tool is just one more way we are trying to give you “an EDGE On Your Banking!”

Customer Appreciation Day was a HUGE Success!
TheEDGEBANK’s Second Annual Customer Appreciation Day was held on Friday, June 4th. Based on the amount of food we handed out it must have been a success. We handed out over 125 hotdogs, bags of chips, and drinks throughout the day.
Thanks to all our great customers for making TheEDGEBANK what it is today!
Changes To Regulation E Will Change How ATM and Debit Card Transactions Are Authorized and Approved.
On November 12, 2009 the Federal Reserve Board adopted a final rule amending Regulation E, which effects electronic bank transactions. One of the most significant changes that will affect our customers is an amendment that restricts a bank’s ability to authorized insufficient fund transactions on ATM & Debit Card transactions. (i.e.; If you have $19.00 in your checking account and you request a $20.00 withdrawal from your account by means of your ATM or Debit Card we will no longer be able to authorize the transaction and your withdrawal or purchase will be denied.) In the past, banks were allowed to set up automatic parameters that would automatically approved certain insufficient fund ATM and Debit Card transactions. Unfortunately, as of the mandatory compliance date of July 1, 2010, we will no longer be allowed to extend the courtesy of automatically approved insufficient fund ATM and Debit Card Transactions. I apologize for any inconvenience the regulatory change may cause, and I encourage you to keep your check register as accurate and up to date as possible so you can avoid not having an insufficient fund ATM/Debit Card transaction denied.
