TheEDGEBANK, a Branch of Premier Bank of Jacksonville understands and agrees that your financial privacy is very important. Therefore, we do NOT disclose any information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. However, we are required to inform you about the information that we collect from you and the measures that we take to secure the information collected.

Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect related to providing you with a financial product or service. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. Nonpublic personal information will be referred to as “information”.

An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.

A nonaffiliated third party is a person we do not employ or a company that is not an affiliate of ours. This may also be known as or referred to as “other party”.

We collect information about you from various sources including: information that you provide to us on applications or forms; information about your transactions with us; information about your transactions with other parties; information from a consumer reporting agency; and information we receive through our Customer Identification Program (CIP).

Again, we do not disclose any information about you to any other party, except as permitted by law. As permitted by law, we may disclosure necessary information to service your account, order checks for your account, prevent unauthorized transactions on your account, etc.
We pride ourselves on our Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of your Information. So, we restrict access to information about you to only those employees who need to know the information to provide you with products or services. Additionally, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to ensure that your information is protected.

Former customer information is not disclosed either, except as permitted by law.

Trade Name Disclosure

Premier Bank of Jacksonville wants to make you aware the fact that we use a “trade name” for our branch located in Edwardsville, Illinois. In reference to the Edwardsville Banking Center, you will see us use a name and/or logo that refers to the bank branch as either TheEDGEBANK, Premier Bank, or Premier Bank of Jacksonville. This disclosure is being made in accordance with the interagency statement issued in May 1998 by the Federal Financial Institutions Regulatory Agencies. Given our use of a trade name, there are several
measures we must take to ensure that you understand who we are and how we might use both our trade name and our legal name in various marketing pieces and legal documents.

First and foremost, we are an Illinois chartered, FDIC insured, financial institution. We are legally named Premier Bank of Jacksonville and owned by a holding company known as West Plains Investors, Inc.

Premier Bank of Jacksonville’s Edwardsville Banking Center operates under the trade name of
TheEDGEBANK, and since we operate under a trade name you will see both TheEDGEBANK name/logo as well as Premier Bank of Jacksonville’s name/logo on various signs, advertising, mailings, legal documents and similar materials. This disclosure is required by law and is being done to ensure that you understand that TheEDGEBANK is a branch of Premier Bank of Jacksonville. We intend to make every effort to disclose this fact to you in order to avoid any potential deceptive or misleading impressions you might have regarding our legal name or the ownership of our bank.

We are also required by law to use our legal name of Premier Bank of Jacksonville for all legal documents, certificates of deposit, signature cards, loan agreements, account statements, checks, drafts, and other similar documents.

Additionally, you should know that we are FDIC insured under our legal name, Premier Bank of Jacksonville. This means that if you have accounts at multiple branches of Premier Bank of Jacksonville, your coverage is combined under one federally insured institution.

In order to make sure that you understand what is being said in this disclosure, our staff has been trained on how to handle any possible confusion that may arise from the use of our trade name.

To reiterate what has been formally said in this disclosure, we are NOT a separate institution from Premier Bank of Jacksonville. We ARE a branch of Premier Bank of Jacksonville, doing business under the trade name TheEDGEBANK.
